Motorized Blinds and Shades, also known as Battery Operated Shades, Remote Controlled motorized blinds, Electric shades, or Automatic Blinds, refer to the types of window shades that are controlled with a remote operating system rather than directly raised or lowered by hand or with cords.

Remote controlled motorized shades & blinds are ideal for very tall windows or ones that are difficult to reach. They can also be a great addition to other rooms with centralized control centers such as media rooms or for homes with consolidated security panels where motorized blinds can be lowered from a single location in order to improve security and privacy.
